Manicure was invented in about 5000 years ago in India and from that time it becomes a well known beauty practice and whose procedures has also turned towards newer dimensions with time. Now not only various types of nail care details but it comes with many more nail beauty treatments. Its main aim is to nourish your finger nails and helps to preserve it. There are different types of manicures present, like:

French manicure:  This gives a clear, pale pink nails with white polish on the tip of the nails. Reverse French manicure, paraffin manicure (is important for those whose hands are very dry due to overwork);

European manicure (is a process where hands are soaked in soothing),hot stone manicure (including hand massage and hot stone therapy), American manicure, Luxury manicure etc.

Shellac Manicure: Generally shellac manicure does not take long  time and produces its best result around 3 days after the completion of the manicure process. That’s why maximum women prefer Shellac manicure (only non-gel manicure present at the market) which lasts a couple of weeks and is considered as a great competitive of Gel manicure. It takes less time than other manicure procedures and especially   than the French manicure which takes more than two hours. Another important and interesting fact about this Shellac manicure is, though it looks like normal nail polish but its components are a different kind of hybrid blend nail polish which dries very quickly (it takes 120 sec approx.).  with such advantages, the only disadvantage is that this manicure method is the best among all and sustains a beautiful glossy nails for a couple of weeks but for that you have to pay a hi-fi price.

Gel manicure: Now a day’s manicure is a very popular nail care and nail beauty treatment. Gel manicure is one of the most popular methods of manicure, though there is a big controversy present in between Shellac manicure and Gel manicure. During gel manicure treatment, first clean and polish the edges of nails, then the base coat is applied on it and after that several layers of gel painted on nails. These are available in any colour and lasts for a couple of weeks. Majority of women prefer gel manicure because of its long lasting property, but this process has some disadvantages like you have to maintain it all the time otherwise it would become the cause for unnecessary infections and  the UV ray used for drying the nail colour increases the chances of skin cancer.

Manicure and pedicure together takes almost one hour. Generally many women prefer manicures rather than therapy because it is less costly and gives a smart and elegent look silently.
